Overview
Virtual Net Metering Driven Post Ground Mount Project which sells power through PPA agreements to City of West Hartford and City of Hartford.
This project was built in 2 stages with 4 REC awards over 2 years. The first stage was a 2.4MW using an LREC award and a ZREC award along with one part of a Virtual Net Metering award to sell power credits to the City of West Hartofrd at a discount. The second phase was a 1.35MW using a ZREC and an LREC award and the remainder of the Virtual Net Metering award to sell power credits to the City of Hartford. The farmer who onws this land was not able to grow anything on this portion of land for many years due to it being rocky and barren. There was minimal site work and tree clearing done. This farmer now gets a yearly lease income to help support his farm.
