Last week, solar professionals, innovators, and experts from around the world converged in Las Vegas, Nevada to attend Solar Power International, or SPI, the largest solar convention in the world. Manufacturers of solar technology including modules, inverters, racking, and batteries as well as installers, developers, and financiers shared their most recent innovations and techniques to further the common goal and passions for expanding solar renewable energy and decreasing the use of fossil fuels.
While this may not sound like the most appealing reason to visit Vegas to the average traveler, this solar convention should matter to homeowners if you are considering solar.
Workshops and Education sessions ranging from battery storage to community solar and utility scale integration were held daily to educate as well as provide the opportunity for networking events that help nurture relationships to continue maximizing efficiency in all aspects of the solar industry. As one of our partners who was also at SPI stated, it’s “The Super Bowl of Solar”.
Education is Key
Attending SPI with the leaders of our organization is always an asset to our customers. By continuing our education, we can offer insight into the residential, commercial, and municipal markets to not only offer the best in products and services available in the market now, but also to learn what will be available in the future. This allows us to offer you real time insight as to what is available on the market now, current cutting edge technology, and what is on the horizon. We can guide you on how to go solar and save money for your home, your business, or your organization.
